Outfit of the day 26/04/18

One of my favourite colour combinations derives from one of the most wonderful sights of Spring: yellow daffodils against a bright blue sky. Seeing this cheers me up after the dark and grey days of Winter like nothing else. So, today I tried to replicate these colours and create a happy feeling for myself after several days of illness and low mood.

Today’s outfit is the result:

  • Cobalt blue cotton cable jumper – Lands’ End.
  • Bright blue crystal and silver earrings – Sonrisa Boutique.
  • Blue and cream enamel and crystal Owl bangle – Halcyon Days.
  • Silk scarf, 90cm, in shades of blue, yellow, turquoise and purple – Au Pays des Oiseaux Fleurs – Hermès.

This pretty scarf, with its fine details, is so uplifting, particularly when worn with my cobalt sweater. Even though I still wore my pyjama trousers and slippers and didn’t manage to leave the house, I still feel a lot better than I did at the beginning of the week.

Lovely Husband’s eye is continuing to improve and I am doing my best to look after him, despite him being a very grumpy patient. I can’t blame him as it must be very annoying having to deal with me squirting eyedrops in his eye four times a day for a month!

Best wishes,

💛💙💛💙💛
