A little parcel arrived this morning. Lovely Husband made a comment about the extent of my online shopping, but it feels like having an extra birthday when I have something to open!
Anyway, this is what it contained:

China Tree kimono jacket – One Hundred Stars
A dear friend sent me a FB message with a link to this company – One Hundred Stars – and I assume that she was thinking about my love of scarves. Well the scarves on the site are very pretty, but I was really taken with their kimono jackets. They come in one size and the company also does longer kimonos, dressing gowns, throws and more.
Anyway, I am pleased with the purchase and the kimono will look lovely over navy or white t-shirts or vests, with either linen trousers or jeans. I really love the colours – shades of blue with white – and the design is a bit like Chinese Willow Pattern. The fabric is very soft, delicate and fine so I will have to be careful when I wear it and also when it needs washing. My only negative comment is that I wish the fabric had been a little more substantial. Here is the kimono jacket as part of my outfit of the day:

Outfit of the day 15/05/18 with China Tree kimono jacket by One Hundred Stars
Today’s outfit:
- Navy cotton crew neck t-shirt – Sainsbury’s Tu.
- Indigo jeans – Cotton Traders.
- Pearl stud earrings – John Lewis.
- Cream and rose gold Ianthe pendant – Liberty of London.
- White leather and gold wrap bracelet – Tory Burch.
- Blue and white viscose/modal kimono jacket – China Tree – One Hundred Stars. By the way, the colours of the jacket in my selfie are very close to true. The website photos make the colours look more subdued.
It has been such a beautiful day again and I was able to persuade Lovely Husband to take me to the Library to change my books this afternoon. Afterwards, I was still feeling fit enough to go further and so we went to one of our local garden centres for a cup of tea and a wander around. When we had finished in the café, I was really tired and we drove home. So, I am now sitting in bed writing this blog and when I have finished the post I will enjoy reading one of my new books. All in all, I am pretty pleased about how the day has developed!
I have another small purchase to show you later in the week and I am planning the usual Reading Roundup post tomorrow.
Best wishes,

Ahhh -I go through the same thing when I am needing a pickup due to things beyond my control( usually Hermes scarves which is a bad habit!) but I see it this way- if you aren’t good to yourself then who else will/I think the items you have chosen will go a long way in your wardrobe for you and are very versatile rather than those kind of purchases that are a one-off( meaning can only be worn one way instead of with a multitude of things)
