Monday post 06/03/23: return of The Librain!

Hello and welcome to all of my friends and visitors! It is now four weeks since I was diagnosed with shingles and it has taken this long for me to even begin to feel better. There is still a long way to go, but I am going to try to resume my usual posting pattern.

I am stuck in bed, with both Lovely Husband and Elder Son waiting on me hand and foot as I am too weak to be able to go downstairs. Obviously, once the worst of the pain and itching have eased off a little further, I will need to make myself get up and do more, so that I can rebuild some of my strength. After all, I actually need to get dressed and wear some of my beautiful scarves!

Ebook reading has now resumed as I can concentrate much better, so I will restart the Reading Roundup posts on Wednesday with some of the books I have enjoyed. On Friday, I have a gorgeous purchase to show you, so I need to take some photos before then.

OK, that is all that I can manage to write for now, so I will leave you with this…

I do love some Black Figure Greek vases!

Love and best wishes,

Anne

    Hi Annie.
So happy to hear you’re on the mend and you have loved ones to bring you what you need. Hope that includes a lovely tea to go with your reading.
    Take care.

Dear Catherine, thank you so much! Yes, I am slowly improving, helped by Elder Son’s gifts of chocolate cake! Best wishes, Anne X
