Younger Son passed his driving test today! Hurrah! And at the first attempt! Whoop!

Not much else to say, really. Still very ill and unable to do much except watch the TV and read. I am wearing much the same outfit as yesterday, but with nice Egyptian style earrings. So, to entertain you, here is a collage of Egyptian motifs.

I studied Ancient Egypt as part of my first degree in Ancient History and Archaeology back in the 1970s and I have loved the style ever since. We were able to visit the Tutankhamun exhibition at the O2 back in 2008 and I bought the earrings then. They are very similar to the image of the wall decal in the collage above.
