We don’t celebrate Hallowe’en in this house, so I won’t say any more about that.
I decided to wear something completely different today – no scarf! I have very few dresses, but I saw this one last year and liked the colours as they fit so well into my colour wheel. It looks nice with navy leggings or opaque tights with tan ankle boots (or navy ones if I had any – now that’s a thought!).
Today’s outfit:
- Brushed polyester jersey dress in navy, teal, green and tan – Klass.
- Navy leggings – Sainsbury’s.
- Turquoise enamel and rose gold Giraffe bangle – Halcyon Days.
- Bronze art nouveau earrings.

Best wishes for a fun evening,

So how do you deal with the knocks at the door? We only give sweets to those who have dressed up. It didn’t work though, because the first who were in ordinary clothes were young and sweet and I feel a heel.

It has never been a festival in the U.K. until the last few years as we have Bonfire Night on the 5th November. We didn’t do anything when our lads were young. Now, if you don’t put out a sign or a pumpkin, the kids just go past. I just hate the whole thing!
