I managed to get up for a few hours today, after a very bad start, and actually put on a scarf and some earrings for the first time in ages. Yes, the old jumper was the same, but I did try to improve my appearance, even if it made only a tiny difference. I must admit that I actually felt a bit better for doing this, although Lovely Husband didn’t seem to notice. Just as well that I did it for myself, then!

Today’s outfit:

• Navy wool boxy jumper – WoolOvers.
• Navy patterned pyjama bottoms – Sainsbury’s.
• Blue resin and silver earrings.
• Silk scarf, 70cm, in orange, blues, grey, white and brown – A Feminist at Heart – Karine Assaf via Wolf and Badger. Tied casually by folding into a triangle and knotting at the back. The collage below also shows the scarf turned around the other way, which looks fine too.
