Update 03/07/18: Final transition to grey!

I was so pleased to be able to go to the hairdresser today. The heat was too much for me yesterday and I ended up spending almost the whole day in bed struggling to breathe. It had cooled down a bit this morning and I felt much better, so Lovely Husband took me into town and then picked me up afterwards – he is so kind and thoughtful.

Anyway, here is the usual before and after collage. This is me, with no makeup at all (cannot bear it in hot weather). The dyed hair has all gone for good and I am left with a lot of salt and pepper with some lovely (IMHO) silver streaks. I really like the different shades and tones especially as these help to make my hair look a bit less thin, certainly in real life. My fringe is mostly silver, which seems to disappear in photos. The lovely blow dry was a bit spoiled on the way home as we had to roll the car windows right down and I got a bit windswept!

This collage below is the full before and after. On the left is what I would look like after the two hour dye job, cut and blow dry. On the right is today’s picture.

I am very happy with the result. My hair is now very easy to look after and I feel nice, especially when I wear some of my best clothes, in terms of colour, and put on a bit of makeup. I only have to wash my hair, comb it through and ruffle it a bit with my fingers. That’s OK for me!

Reading Roundup post tomorrow.

Best wishes,
