I had the most amazing luck at the end of last week. When I was visiting the Rennies website, I saw one of my grail scarves offered at a very good price, so I had no choice but to snap it up…
…it arrived earlier this week and I have been wearing it today…
The famous orange box…
The scarf carefully wrapped in tissue paper with Rennie’s cute sticker and card…

Half unfolded…
The full scarf – the very famous and sought after La Femme aux Semelles de Vent, designed by Aline Honoré for Hermès…

Now, this scarf is very hard to find at a manageable price for someone like me. I will admit that this particular colourway might not have been my first choice, as the colours are so very autumnal, but I have a lot of accessories that look great with it…

Here I am wearing it with some suitable clothes and accessories. Yes, I know I went a bit mad with the leopard print – I was experimenting! (Mutters “less is more, less is more”).

If I was still dyeing my hair, I would not have any concerns at all, but with my grey hair? What do you think? I will certainly keep it in my collection as it is such a special scarf and I love animal print – those borders are amazing!
Once again, I must also commend Paul and Karen at Rennies for their excellent and friendly customer service and very swift posting of the scarf.
In a couple of weeks, when I have been able to gather plenty of information about the design, I will write a Scarf of the Moment post about La Femme aux Semelles de Vent as it has an interesting story behind the design.
Wishing you all a great weekend,
❤️💙💜💛💚
PS I will update about my diet and exercise plan on Monday.
