Well, we reached 31 years today! After yesterday’s adventure, I had hoped to continue the good run by having lunch out at the pub with Lovely Husband, but it was not to be. After a good night’s sleep, I woke up feeling sick and had to grab a bucket – don’t worry, no more details of that episode will be forthcoming!

Instead, I will cheer myself up by posting our wedding photo again:

02/04/1988

I stayed in bed all morning, with my breakfast brought in by Elder Son. Late on, I managed to drag myself out of bed and into some clothes. LH and I had lunch downstairs in front of the first episode of the latest series of Line of Duty (highly recommended, by the way). I then managed to print a couple of things for him using my laptop and came back to bed to enjoy my latest book.

Outfit of the day 02/04/19 with pale blue lurex stole

Today’s outfit:

• Acrylic jumper in grey, ivory and blue – Sainsbury’s Tu.
• Light charcoal stretch cotton cord trousers – Lands’ End.
• Silver Celtic style earrings.
• Mixed fibre stole in pale blue and lurex – gift from my sister.

LH says that he will cook me something nice for dinner this evening, which I am anticipating with great relish!
